반복적인 일상 화려한 일상

Abstract

본 논문은 대학원 석사학위 청구 논문으로 2004년에 제작된 본인의 작품들을 대상으로 하여 본인이 직접 삶의 현장으로부터 촬영한 이미지를 모티브로 반복적인 일상 화려한 일상을 연구 대상으로 삼았다. 오늘날 문명이 발전하고 산업화가 이루어지면서 외적인 세계에서는 감성보다 지성의 중요성이 강조되어 왔다. 이러한 결과에 의해 인간관계나 인간의 모습도 물질의 지배를 받게 되고 개인주의 사회로 변화 되면서 인간의 가치는 시장 경제의 논리 내에서 상품처럼 평가 받고 있으며 현대사회에서 전면적이고도 보편적인 인간 소외가 인간의 삶을 지배한다. 하지만 지성 뒤에 숨겨진 인간의 내적 세계에는 인간의 감성을 느낄 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구자는 내 주변에서 항상 일어나기 때문에 당연시 했던 상황들, 행동들과 표정들을 정지시킴으로서 일상 속 사람 들에 이중적 성격을 나타내고 있으며 사회 안에서 자신을 용해시키며 풀어나가고자 하는 인간 내면세계를 꽃의 형상을 도입하여 내적 감성을 표면위에 나타나길 바라는 희망의 상징으로 나타내었다. 그리고 현대 사회에 있어 예술표현은 개인의 경험이 다채로운 것만큼 다양한 표현 방식으로 이루어지고 있으며 표현 방식에 있어서도 이전과 비교할 수 없을 정도로 다양하고 개성적인 모습을 보여 주고 있다. 본인의 작품에서 색채와 공간표현은 배경으로서의 공간이 아니라 공간 속의 공기, 분위기를 형성한다. 이러한 분위기는 현실세계에서 느끼는 일상인으로서의 불안한 심리상태와 어둠, 현실의 공허를 나타내며 일상인의 건조하고 무기력한 가운데에서의 불안한 심리와 감정이 드러난다. 본 논문을 통하여 본인의 표현세계를 돌아보는 계기를 삼게 되었으며 앞으로도 작품 활동에 있어서 새로운 원동력이 되는데 그 의의를 갖고자 한다.|This thesis aimed at studying ordinary and bright daily lives with the motive of images that I photographed in the living life on my works produced in 2004. Today, since material civilization developed and industrialization increased, a sense has been emphasized rather than a sensibility in the superficial world. As a result, human relationships and appearance are swayed by material goods and the community changed into individualistic society. Eventually, human value is evaluated like products within the logic of market economics and men are controlled by human alienation, which is extensively and universally spreaded in the modern society. However, we can feel the human' sensibility in the inner world hidden behind the sense. I brought situations, behaviors and expressions, which I had taken for granted because they happened around me all the time, to a standstill. Then, adopting an image of a flower to express human's inner world that retains double characters and tries to dissolve themselves in the society, I demonstrated the flower as the symbol of hope that desires to express its inner sensibility. The expression of art in the modern society is revealed in a variety of expression styles as much as an eventful diversity of individual experiences. Even in the expression methods, there exist varied and individual approaches, which cannot be compared to previous works. In my works, the expression of color and space forms the air and ambience of the space not the space as a background. This atmosphere exhibits a nervous state of mind and emptiness of darkness and reality that human feel in a daily life and reveals the anxious feelings and emotions along with the dry and enervate mood. This thesis provided me the opportunity to reflect my view on expression. I believe the study has a significant meaning in which it can bring fresh driving force to my future activity.
