물고기를 통한 일탈적 조형 표현 연구

Abstract

Big motivation for my work is to temporarily escape from the daily lives and to provide an opportunity to venture to new strange places. This thesis intends to analyze production background, contents, figures and in return will provide guidance toward subjective observation of process, which by meeting new ego through 'positive departure', which can be defined as action of searching for another ego within an ego, The figurative expression of deviation covered in this study is a positive one, which is meant to be constructive by releasing many different emotions that we have encountered through our lives. Subjects reflected with mentality such as desire to deviate will be reinterpreted in my own language then be the main character of the story, thus creating a mental space. The mental space is expressed as one space in which a reality and an ideal is mixed, where various egos are mixed together in order to satisfy a desire of deviation, or where an ideal world is described. I tried to symbolize a desire of deviation through a fish which dreams of a world outside the water from within the water which is not the land with the air that humans breathe on, and express both a reality and an ideal by including extra elements such as scenery of in-the-water, flowers, water plants, and trees. Through transparent overlapping effects of coloring work, I created unique depths in colors and shapes so that each figurative element fuses into one another and coexists. Thus it allowed comprehensive composition in one space, and can be completed as a singular being, expressing another ego within an ego which dreams of desire of deviation. This study explains figurative parts such as motivation of work, methods of production, organization of screen, colors and shapes. It is also a experimental process of methods to communicate with audiences by expressing very subjective mentalities and experiences in a figurative language which can be interpreted objectively. By expressing new positive sides of a desire of deviation by this study and relative work, I intend to understand the desire as a very important element of a self's ego, and moreover provide profound medium to communicate with others.|자신이 속한 환경 속에서 잠시 벗어나거나 낯전 곳으로의 여행을 꿈꾸는 일탈의 욕구는 본인의 작업에서 매우 중요한 동기가 된다. 본 논문은 자아 속의 또 다른 자아를 찾아 떠나는 행동으로 정의 내릴 수 있는 긍정적 일탈을 통해 새로운 자아를 만나는 과정을 주관적인 해석으로 작품의 제작배경과 작품에 나타난 내용적, 조형적 측면을 연구 분석하여 본인의 작품이 나아갈 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 다루고자 하는 일탈의 조형적 표현은 본인을 둘러싸고 있는 생활을 축으로 일어나는 다양한 감정을 표출해서 발전적인 방향으로 나아가 고자 하는 긍정적 일탈을 나타내고자 한다. '일탈의 욕구'와 같은 심리가 반영된 대상들은 본인만의 언어로 재해석하여 이야기를 이끌어나가는 주인 공이 된다. 이들은 나의 심리적인 공간을 형성해 나아가고. 그 공간은 다양 한 자아의 모습이 섞여 현실을 벗어나고픈 일탈의 욕구를 충족시켜주는, 또는 동경하는 세계를 표현하는 곳이 된다. 그리고 이들은 현실과 이상이 뒤섞인 한 개의 공간으로 표현된다 물고기는 작업의 조형적인 요소로서 인간이 숨쉬는 공기속의 대지가 아닌 물속의 생활에서 물 밖 세상을 꿈꾸는 존재로 일탈에의 욕구를 상징화하고 있다. 그리고 물속의 풍경, 꽃과 물풀, 나무 등 그 외적인 요소들을 포함시 켜 현실과 이상을 함께 표현하고자 하였다. 염색 작품만이 갖는 투명한 겯침 쵸과는 색채와 형태에 있어서 독특한 깊 이를 만들어내 각각의 조형적인 요소들이 서로 융합되어 공존하도록 표쳔하 였다. 또한 한 공간 안에 복합적인 구성이 가능하고, 단일한 매체로써 완 결 지을 수 있어 '일탈에의 욕구'를 꿈꾸는 자아속의 또 다른 자아를 상징화 하였다. 본 연구는 작업의 동기 및 제작방법, 화면구성, 색채, 형태등과 같은 조형적인 부분을 서술한다. 그리고 주판적인 심리와 경험을 객관적인 해석 이 가능한 조형언어로 표현함으로써 판객과 소통할 수 있는 방법을 연구하 고자 하였다. 본 논문과 일련의 작업을 통해 일탈의 새로운 긍정적인 면을 표현함으로써 일탈에의 욕구를 현재 자신의 정체성을 이룰는 중요한 구성물 로 파악하고 인식할 수 있는 계기를 갖고자 하였으며 던 나아가 타인과 소 통할 수 있는 매개체로써좌 역할을 수행할 수 있는데 의의를 두고자 하였 다.
