문학교육을 위한 발문 연구

Abstract

학습자 중심 활동이 부각되면서 학습의 주체가 학습자로 바뀜에 따라 오히려 교사의 역할과 능력이 어느 때보다도 요구되고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 교사와 학습자간의 상호작용에 주목하고, 그 과정에서 교사가 행할 수 있는 가장 의미 있는 행동은 적절한 발문의 활용임을 인식하게 되었다. 발문은 사고력 신장과 학업성취 면에서 매우 효과적인 교수방법이다. 다만 발문을 실제 수업에 적용할 때 고려해야 할 점은 수업의 목표와 내용에 따라 그리고 학습자의 수준과 성향에 따라 매우 유동적이기 때문에 명확하게 규칙을 정할 수 없다는 점이다. 따라서 본고에서 다룰 발문은 특정 수업에서의 교사발문 적용 사례를 보여주는 것이 아니라 국어과 수업에서 보편적으로 활용할 수 있도록 발문 구성 방법을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 Ⅱ장에서는 국어과 수업에 적합한 발문 유형으로 읽기 기능과 독해 층위의 이론적 근거에 따른 ‘사실적 발문, 추론적 발문, 비판적 발문, 감상적 발문’을 새롭게 구안하였다. Ⅲ장에서는 발문의 일반적인 구성 원리와 9학년 교과서에 실린 작품 ‘원미동 사람들’, ‘운수 좋은 날’을 대상으로 교과서 <학습 활동> 즉 교재발문을 분석하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 이를 토대로 같은 단원의 심화활동 작품 ‘오발탄’과 ‘난쟁이가 쏘아 올린 작은 공’을 대상으로 새로 구안한 발문을 적용하여 교수-학습 방안을 모색하였다. ‘오발탄’은 강의식 수업에서 교사가 주도적으로 발문을 구성하고 적용하는, 즉 교사와 학습자 간의 상호작용에 초점을 두었다. 이에 비해 ‘난쟁이가 쏘아 올린 작은 공’은 학습자와 학습자 간의 상호작용에 초점을 맞추고 발문을 토의식 수업에 적용하였는데 이때 교사발문과 더불어 학습자가 스스로 발문을 구성하도록 함으로써 작품을 보다 능동적으로 감상하도록 한 점이 특징이다. 또한 이 연구는 다양하고 실험적인 교수방안을 제시하기보다 현행 교육과정에 따른 수업 현장에서의 실행 가능성을 최대한 고려하여 교수-학습 내용을 선정하였다. 따라서 교사가 발문을 체계적으로 구성하고 그것을 수업에 활용하고자 할 때나 교사 자신이 구성한 발문이 편향되었는지를 분석하고 수정할 때 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.|A question is a very effective teaching method in extending thinking power and making academic achievement. It should be considered that it cannot have clear rules fixed when applied to an actual class because it is very fluid according to the situation of the class and learners' levels. Thus, this thesis aimed at presenting not the case where a teacher applied a question to a particular class but how to construct the question that can universally be used in the class for the subject of the Korean language. For it, Chapter II newly studied as types of question suitable to the class 'a factual question, an inferential question, a critical question and an appreciative question' according to the theoretical grounds for reading function and reading comprehension level. Chapter III explored the principle by which an question is generally constructed and analyzed the questions in the textbook Learning Activity, that is, the teaching material for 'Wonmi-dong People' and 'A Lucky Day' as the works carried in the textbook for Grade 9. Based on it, Chapter IV sought teaching-learning plans by applying the newly studied questions to 'An Aimless Bullet' and 'A Small Ball Launched by a Dwarf' as the works for deepening activities in the same unit. The former work was taught in a lecture-style class but focusing on the interaction between a teacher and learners, while the latter was applied to a discussion-style class focusing on the interaction between learners. This study chose what would be taught and learnt in maximum consideration of the feasibility of various experimental teaching plans in class fields according to the current curriculum rather than presenting them. Thus, it is expected to be helpful when a teacher constructs a question systematically and uses it to his class or when he analyzes whether the question constructed by him is biased or not and corrects it.
