文字를 應用한 陶製 花器 디자인 硏究

Abstract

문자는 인간의 지식과 문화를 기록·전달하는 수단으로 사용되어 인류문명의 발전에 중요한 역할을 해왔으며, 지역과 민족의 특성에 따라 고유성이 유지되어 왔다. 현재 우리나라에서 사용되고 있는 한자와 한글은 체계적으로 형태가 다양화되어 있으며, 조화로운 구성미를 지니고 있다. 특히 한자는 상형화된 문자로서 구조적인 형상의 미가 형태에 표?層퓸? 있고, 한글은 기하학적인 조형원리를 기본으로 한 과학적인 형태미를 지니고 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 한자와 한글의 형태와 구성미에 관심을 가졌으며, 예술로서의 가능성을 발견하여 이를 조형화하고자 하였다. 따라서 문자 중에서 한자와 한글의 구조적인 아름다움에 착안하여 이를 조형화함으로서, 현대가 요구하는 독창적인 화기형태를 제작하고자 하였다. 문자의 전체적인 형태와 구성에 따른 공간감과 비례를 고려하여 조형화하였고, 기본단위를 재구성하여 새로운 문자를 표현함으로서 다양한 형태의 화기를 제작하였다. 화기는 실용적·심미적인 기능과 더불어 넓은 생활공간을 장식하고, 정서적인 안정감을 통한 풍요로운 삶을 제공할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 기호적인 형태의 화기가 화재(花材)와 조화되도록 색감에 유념하였다. 제작과정은 스치로폼을 원형으로 하여 석고틀을 제작하였고, 태토는 자기질 점토를 사용하였으며, 이장주입기법을 이용하였다. 소성은 850℃로 1차 소성한 뒤 철유, 재유, 청자유를 시유하여 1250℃로 2차 소성하였다.|Man recorded and transmitted knowledge and culture between generations by using character, achieved a high level of civilization, and contributed to the activity of art of expressing the plastic will of the inside. In particular, Chinese character and Hangul, the old name for the Korean language, came to have a peculiar plastic world by sublimation to art from ancient times on. This is systematic and beautiful in the harmony of composition owing to the structure of collective writing based on hieroglyphics. Specifically, Chinese character has the beauty of figures expressed in forms, whereas Hangul contains scientific formal beauty based on geometric plastic principles. In general, a vase provides us with abundant life by decorating space of life with a sentimental sense of stability and practical and aesthetic functions. In the modern times, it is expanded to the material of expressing art and is requiring creative material and forms. This study is, herewith, aimed at taking notice of the diversity and design of the forms pursued by a vase from the plastic beauty of character and producing a vase by keeping in mind spatial decoration in life. The process of producing it was that gypsum mold was produced with styrene foam as a prototype and that the method of slip casting was used. For firing, primary one was done at 850°C, secondary one at 1250°C by glazing iron glaze, ash glaze, celadon glaze, transparent glaze and so on, and tertiary one at 800°C. With this thesis as a momentum, I hope that the development of design by applying character will be diversely performed, and that we will become sentimentally abundant by a character-type vase decorating space of life.
