도시의 서정적 이미지 표현연구

Abstract

인간의 삶에 있어 좀 더 편리한 생활을 영위하고 물질의 풍족과 그에 따른 개개인의 가치를 부여하는 현대인들의 삶의 방식은 많은 부작용을 야기시켜 왔다. 이렇듯 인간은 오랜 동안 물질문명의 풍요 아래 파괴된 자연환경과 잃어버린 자아(自我)의 진정한 의미를 상실해가고 인간 본연의 정서조차 찾아 볼 수 없게 된 현실에 젖어 살아가고 있다. 이러한 현실에서 예전의 추억과 전원의 향수를 목말라하는 현대인들에게 있어 가장 순수했던 어렸을 적의 동심(童心)으로 돌아가 모든 꿈과 간절한 희망을 삭막한 도시의 풍경에 서정성을 불어넣어 조형화하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적에서의 본 연구는 현재 우리가 살아가고 ?獵? 메마른 도시의 풍경을 전원화 하여 그 곳에서 뛰놀던 과거의 어린 마음으로 돌아가 추억 속에 남아 있는 자연으로의 바램과 희망을 본인 내면의 서정성에 비유하여 하나의 조형언어로 표현하고자 하였다. 따라서 인간내면에 잠재하는 동심의 추억을 매개체로 하여 콘크리트의 도시를 자연의 다양한 모습으로 바꾸고 동심의 감성을 부여함으로써 삭막해져 가는 현대인들의 가슴에 순수성과 자아(自我)를 회복시켜 주고자 하였다.|The lifestyle of men in the modern society values a more convenient life as well as materialistic wealth by which they classify a single human. This is the cause of many side-effects. This is how we lose the real meaning of self and natural environment in exchange for wealth of materialistic society. We now live in reality where it is impossible to find the most basic human sentiment. In this reality, going back to the purest moment which people of the modern society long for, I tried to breathe hopes and dreams of youth and sentiment into the landscapes of barren cities. With this purpose, this work changes the landscapes of the bare city in which we live into that of the countryside where we spent our youth in the past. Then, I tried to metaphorically compare the hopes of nature in memory with the sentiment left in my own inner-self to create a certain language of sculpture. Therefore this work seeks to bring purity of youth and the meaning of self in this barren modernity to recovery by changing the city of concrete into various shapes of nature using memories of youth that lie in human subconscience as its means.
