대학생의 내현적 자기애가 우울감에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 대학생의 내현적 자기애, 거부민감성, 자기침묵, 우울감의 관계를 살펴보고, 내현적 자기애와 우울감의 관계에서 거부민감성과 자기침묵의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 서울, 경기, 전북지역 소재 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 400명(남=184, 여=216)을 대상으로 내현적 자기애 질문지(CNS), 거부민감성 질문지(RSQ), 자기침묵 질문지(STSS), 우울감 질문지(CES-D)를 사용하여 설문조사를 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내현적 자기애와 거부민감성, 자기침묵, 우울감의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 각 변인의 관계는 모두 유의한 정적 상관을 나타내어 변인 간 밀접한 관련이 있음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애와 우울감에 대한 거부민감성과 자기침묵의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 순차적 이중매개모델 분석 절차에 따라 매개분석을 시행한 결과, 내현적 자기애와 우울감의 관계에서 거부민감성의 부분 매개효과가 유의했다. 즉, 내현적 자기애는 직접 우울감에 영향을 미치기도 하지만, 거부민감성이 매개하여 간접적으로도 우울감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 내현적 자기애와 우울감의 관계에서 자기침묵의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구는 대학생의 우울감 감소를 위해 개입해야 할 치료적 요인을 밝힌 것에 의의가 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제안을 논의하였다.

The Mediating Effects of rejection sensitivity and self-silencing in the Relationship between College Students’ Covert Narcissism and Depression

This study examined the effects of covert narcissism on depression through the serial dual mediating effects of rejection sensitivity and self-silencing. four hundred undergraduates were asked to complete questionnaires about covert narcissism, depressed mood, rejection sensitivity, and self-silencing. The results were as follows : First, there is a significant correlations between covert narcissism, depressd mood, rejection sensitivity, and self-silencing. Second, rejection sensitivity was demonstrated to mediate with the relation between covert narcissism and depressed mood, while self-silencing was not. It means that a serial dual mediating path(from covert narcissism to depressed mood, through rejection sensitivity and self-silencing) is meaningless. Based on the results, the implications and the limitations of this study were discussed.
