내면 심리의 은유적 표현 : 본인의 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문은 1998년부터 2001년 사이에 제작된 본인의 작품들을 대상으로 하여 작품의 전개 과정에 있어 표현하고자 했던 내용과 그 방법에 대해 분석한 것이다. 본인은 작품을 자신이 반영되는 매체로 인식하는 것에서부터 출발하여 불교 철학 속에서 보이는 해탈과 고뇌 · 번민에 관하여 자신의 사상과의 결합을 추구하여 작품화하였다. 이때 작품 속에서 나타나는 상황이나 인물은 본인의 생활과 밀접한 관계를 가지며 생각과 사고를 고스란히 내포하고 있다. 일기를 써 내려가듯 가볍게 드로잉을 하기도 하며 상황이나 생각을 정리한 후 화면 구성을 하기도 한다. 인물들 혹은 식물(난 · 난꽃), 그림자들은 본인 혹은 대중들의 실체와 영혼을 반영 표현한 것으로 실제의 모습이나 생각과 본연의 영혼이 가지는 이중적 모습을 나타내어 표현하고자 하였다. 진실 혹은 거짓에 대한 옳고 그름에 대한 인간내면에서의 갈등에 관하여 현실 생활 혹은 몽상적 상황을 만들어 냄으로써 가식과 현실 그리고 인간의 내면과 겉의 다른 생각과 모습을 표출하기 위하여 소재들을 인물, 식물(난 · 난꽃), 그림자 등을 이용한다. 보다 접근 방식의 솔직한 표현을 위해 인물은 모두 본인을 모티브로 하여 본인 자신의 내면 탐구에 중점을 두었다. 불교적 사상 혹은 자아를 극적으로 표현하는 데에 있어 작품 전체를 정적으로 끌어주는 힘으로 단색조의 블랙 톤을 이용하여 단조로움과 긴장감을 극대화시켜 화면 안에서의 내용을 서술하였고, 보다 설명적이고 때로는 사적 기록이라는 개념으로 글이 내포되기도 하였다. 조형적인 분석으로 이야기 적인 상황의 설정과 왜곡된 인체의 묘사 왜곡된 식물의 모습은 마치 본인의 자아가 지닌 모습을 본인 삶의 한편의 영화 혹은 드라마를 보는 듯 놓여지고 한 프레임 프레임 마다 정지된 사진을 찍듯이 시점을 모으며 인위적이고 집중된 구도로 화면을 구성한다. 한 컷마다 그 화면 안의 중심은 하나가 되는 것이다. 본인은 구체적인 작품 설명을 위해 도판을 제시하였으며, 본인이 표현하고자 하는 인간의 내면을 부각시키기 위한 극적 표현 방법들에 대해 보다 구체적으로 서술하였다.|This thesis is what analyzed the contents to try to express and the method in the course of unfolding of work on my works manufactured from 1998to 2001. I made work by seeking the combination with my own thought about the, agony, and to be shown in Buddhism philosophy after starting from recognizing work as the medium that myself is reflected. Situation or person to appear in work in this case is including the thought or thinking to have close relation with my life as it is. This researcher draw lightly, as I keep a diary. And, I composes picture after arranging situation or thought. About persons or plants(orchid and orchid flower), and shadows, this researcher tried to express by showing the double form that real form or thought and innate soul has as what reflected and expressed the entity and soul of me or masses. This researcher uses materials with persons, plants(orchid and orchid flower), and shadow etc. so as to express pretense, actuality, and different thought and form of inside and outside of human beings by making pretense, actuality, and different thought and form of inside and outside of human beings through making actual life or visonary situation about the trouble in human being inside for right and wrong about truth or falsehood. For more frank expression of approach method, this researcher placed emphasis on my own inside study by making me of motive about person. In expressing Buddhistic thought or ego dramatically, this researcher gave monotony and strain by using the black tone of monochrome with the power to work whole statically. And, in describing the contents in picture, writing was included with the concept which is explanatory and private record. The establishment of situation like story, the description of distorted human body, and the form of distorted plant with plastic analysis is placed, it seems to watch one piece of movie or drama of my life about the form that myself has. And, every one frame constitutes picture with artificial and concentrated composition, collecting photoes, as if I take suspended photoes. In every one cut, the center in the picture becomes one. I presented plate for concrete work explanation, and I described the dramatic expression methods for embossing the inside of human beings that I try to express more concretely.
