남북한 중학교 수학과 교육과정비교 및 교과서 비교 분석연구 : 기하영역을 중심으로

Abstract

영문초록: p. 49-50|최근 남북한의 관계는 정치·경제·사회·문화 그리고 교육 등의 사회전반에 걸쳐 급격한 변화가 진행중이며 이것은 시간이 흐를수록 가속화되고 있다. 이러한 변화에 대응하여 우리가 남북한의 교육에 대한 상이점을 인지하고 현재의 상황을 이해하는 것은 궁극적으로 통일과 민족적 동질성 회복을 위해 대단히 의미있는 과정이라 할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 현실적으로 통일에 대비하여 그리고 민족적 동질성 회복을 위한 사회 각 분야에서의 연구 및 지원이 절실히 요구된다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 현실인식을 바탕으로 남북한 중학교 수학교육과정 및 남북한의 중학교 수학교과서 비교를 통해 북한의 수학교육과정에 대한 전반적인 이해와 특히 중등과정의 기하 영역을 중심으로 비교·분석을 통해 통일 후 남북한 수학교육의 통합을 위한 본격적인 연구의 초석을 마련하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 체?瓮? 구성되어 있다. 제Ⅰ장 서론에서는 연구의 필요성과 목적에 대하여 서술하였고, 제Ⅱ장 1절에서는 북한 수학교육의 이론적 배경과 교육행정체계 그리고 교원양성제도에 대해 살펴보았다. 그리고 제Ⅱ장 2절에서는 남북한의 중학교 수학교육과정을 목표와 교육과정의 비교를 통해 재구성해 보고자 하였다. 또한 제Ⅱ장 3절에서는 남북한 수학교과서를 비교·분석하였으며, 제Ⅲ장은 결론으로 구성했다. 결론적으로 남북한 수학교육과정의 통합에는 교육과정과 교육이념의 상이성으로 인해 많은 어려움이 산재해 있으며, 이러한 현실인식은 수학교육의 통합연구가 더 이상 미래가 아닌 현실의 문제임을 깨닫고 이를 위한 준비와 대책 마련이 필요하다는 것을 시사한다고 하겠다.|Recently, there has been swiftly changing between South and North Korea in many fields of society including politics, economics, culture and education. And these changes have been accelerating as time goes on. In the response to these changes, it is significant that we understand North Korea's current situation correctly, by dealing successfully with differences between South and North Korea, and trying to pursuit the national homogeneity. Consequently, research activities is strongly demanded in each of these fields to support the final unification of two parts of the nation. In the field of mathematics education, even though many researchers just begin to make a comparative studies between South and North Korea, it's no more than the first steps to unify the mathematics curriculum of South and North Korea. As the needs of the times, this purpose of this thesis is the comparative analysis of South and North Korean secondary school's educational curriculums and text books in Mathematics, particularly focused on the area of geometry. First of all, we examined the background of education in North Korea, involving system of educational administration and even ideological aspects. Second, we compared secondary school mathematics curriculums in South and North Korea. Third, we compared text books in South and North Korea by considering a difference in both aspects of contents and external forms. Forth, we paid special attention to geometry area to emphasize the differences of contents in mathematics between South and North Korea. Finally, we attempted to make way for our younger researchers preparing for the unification of the mathematics curriculum of South and North Korea. In conclusion, the finding of study do suggest that a further research on this subject is needed for the elaboration of the unified curriculum of mathematics between South and North Korea.
