- Abstract
- Geometric form in modern society is very important formative elements such as an architecture, a painting, a sculpture and a design, etc, in art area. Geometry is a figure which can divided into a plane and a solid and is made by when mathematical proportion formed visually.
Such kind form was based on mathematical theorem is which becoming of expression of order and harmony from the making of a unity and variation in formativeness.
My art works used mostly circle, square, a cone and color in geometry form. A circle is as an order of cosmos, a cone combined between a column and triangle is center of self-control human has, core and symbol of eternal truth. A square is expressed safety balance from opposit of all things. Moreover, In plastic element colors is expression of the harmony of yin-yang, symbol of blue, red, yellow, black, white in the sum of things as the universe view.
This study is geometric form of universe and order by the existence of self-being and form and color symbol make use of geometric expression of harmony and order.
The main discourse is made up of three chapters.
Chapter Ⅰ, It is presenting to background of geometry concept and harmony and order with direction of formative art work.
Chapter Ⅱ, It's presenting to production method and production detail of my art work of six related with formative meaning, material expression of circle, corn, square and colors.
Chapter Ⅲ, as conclusion, I would like to present to the direction of my work and would like to re-positioning theoretically for my art work through in this research.
