기억 이미지를 통한 조형표현 연구 : 염색 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

인간의 의식은 기억을 바탕으로 형성된다. 인간은 다른 동물과는 구별되는 그들만의 독특한 기억들을 저장하고 있으며 그 기억은 인간의 생활의식, 그리고 그 표현에 지대한 영향을 미친다. 예술가들 또한 자신의 내면에 있는 그들의 기억을 근본으로 해서 작품을 표현하며 이러한 예술세계는 과거를 통해 사회, 문화, 역사 속에서 그들만이 가진 기억축적의 결과인 것이다. 본 논문은 기억에 대한 주관적인 해석을 통해 작품의 제작배경과 작품에 나타난 내용적, 조형적 측면을 연구 분석하여 본인의 작품이 나아갈 방향을 마련하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 다루고자 하는 기억에 대한 관념은 본인이 속한 시간과 공간 속에서 형성되고 과거를 판단하고 현재를 결정지을 수 있게 하며 미래에 대한 계획을 세울 수 있는 역동적 기억이다. 또한 감각을 통한 경험 속에서 형성?풔? 감정과 정서는 기억에 의해 비롯된다고 보고 내면에 잠재된 기억의 형상화를 통해 새로운 기억의 이미지를 표현하고자 하였다. 정지된 장면으로의 기억이 아닌 무의식속에 잠재 되어 있는 수많은 기억의 조각들이 과거, 현재, 미래 속에서 전개되어지는 이미지를 상징화하였으며 선과 기하학적 형태의 반복적 구성을 통하여 시간성, 공간성을 부여하고 연속적 변화의 의식으로서의 기억을 표현하고자 하였다. 이상의 내용으로 제작된 일련의 작품들을 통해 기억의 새로운 이미지를 표현함으로써 기억을 현재 자신의 정체성을 이루는 중요한 구성물로 파악하고 인식할 수 있는 계기를 갖고자 한다.|The acknowledgement of human being is formed on the foundation of memory. He or she has respectively the unique memories to distinguish human from other animals on the earth and such a memories affect human life sense ＆ its expression to a large extent. Artists also express their art works on the basis of their memory inherent in the depth of their inner beings. Art world such as this is the outcome of memory storage only they have in society, culture and history through the past. This thesis is supposed to take the direction to which writer's works make their way through the subjective interpretation of memories which are the results of close studies ＆ analysis of substantial ＆ formative aspects of writer's works. The concept of memory dealt with in this study is a kind of dynamic memory which enables forming time ＆ space, estimating the past, deciding the present, planning the future, etc. In addition, Considering that emotions ＆ sentiments molded by sense in a variety of experiences come from human's memory, this study is to grant symbols through the formation of memories inherent deeply in human consciousness, at the same time, form the sympathy of memory, symbolize the images deployed in the past, the present and the future in which countless memories inherent in subconscious, not memory as the suspended scene, and express the memory as the sense of continuous changes which takes place simultaneously with giving concept of time ＆ space to something by repetition of line ＆ geometrical shapes. A kind of new image is expected to be expressed and symbolized and such a process will make a occasion to grasp and acknowledge the components molding the identity of the present self through a series of works with the contents such as mentioned above.
