공간의 확장과 구조에 대한 조형성 연구

Abstract

급변하는 현대사회에서 과거의 예술이라는 개념이나 정의로 예술을 여타의 인간행위, 다른 형식의 문화들과 분리하고 예술만이 갖는 속성을 찾아내기란 쉽지 않다. 다만 예술이 속한 일반적인 범주는 예술은 자연의 산물이 아니라 하나의 의식적인 인간활동이라는 사실이다. 따라서 예술활동은 인간의 현실에 관한 의식적인 활동이 예술형식에 따라 표현된 것이라고 할 수 있다. 본인 작품은 시대변화의 흐름속에서 전통적인 예술개념을 기반으로한 조각에 대한 미적 탐구를 통해 새로운 추상조각의 가능성을 모색한 창작활동의 결과라 할 수 있다. 작품들에서 보여지는 분절된 조각 형태들은 다양한 조합방법을 통하여 구조화된 결과물이며 새로운 공간의 확장구조를 시각적인 형태로 조형화한 것이다. 주 재료는 제작에 용이한 목재를 사용하였다. 본 논문은 ‘공간의 확장과 구조에 대한 조형성 연구’이며 총 3장으로 되어 있다. 제1장 서론에서는 작품 조형성 연구의 목적과 내용 및 표현방법을 제시하였다. 제2장 본론에서는 본인의 작품의 근거가 되는 추상조각의 배경과 분절된 형태의 조합을 통해 조형화 된 작품을 조형연구를 통해 분석하였다. 제3장 결론에서는 본 논문의 내용과 작품을 총괄적으로 정리하고 이를 근거로 이후 본인의 작업 방향 의지를 언급하였다.|In this rapidly changing society, it is not easy to distinguish art from other human behaviors and human cultures of other types compared to the previous concept and definition of art and to identify the properties of art. The self-evident fact, however, is that the general category of art is not nature but an intentional activity of humans. In other words, artistic works may be regarded as a men's conscious activity to express their realities through employing an artistic form. The present author's works are the results of her creative activities searching for the possibility of new abstract sculpture by means of aesthetic inquires based on traditional artistic concepts which are to be attested in the changing flow of the times. The separate fragments in the present author's works are an outcome of the constructive elaboration using various methods of combination and a visual moulding of the expansive structure of new spaces. The main material of the works is wood, which is easy to carve. This thesis consisting of three chapters is a ‘study on the formativeness of spatial extension and structure.' Chapter 1 Introduction states the purposes and contents of the study on the formativeness of works, and relevant expression methods. Chapter 2, which is the main body of the thesis, employs formative researches and analyzes such works as are composed of the combination of the background of abstract sculpture, which is the foundation of the present author's works, and segment-type wood. Finally, Chapter 3 Conclusion generally summarizes the contents of this thesis and works set forth in it, and based on the summary, mentions the future directions of the artistic work of the author.
