공간의 기억에 대한 표현연구 = 본인의 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문은 2002년부터 2003년까지 제작된 본인의 작품을 대상으로 한 것으로서 표현동기, 공간의 형성, 그리고 조형적인 측면을 분석하고 서술하고 있다. 본인은 현실세계에서 체험하게 된 환영적 공간, 즉 살아가다 문득 문득 눈앞에 스쳐 지나가는 무의식의 공간을 표현하였다. 이러한 공간은 한순간 나타났다가 의미 없이 사라지지는 것처럼 보이지만 그것은 본인에게 현실 안에 존재하는 일부로 기억되어 본인의 마음속의 내적 과정까지 포함하는 것이다. 먼저 본인은 현실 속에서 체험한 공간의 기억들이 어떻게 다가왔는지를 서술하여 표현동기를 설명하였다. 이 부분에서 개인적인 공간에 대한 체험과 체험의 축적, 그리고 의미를 파악하는 과정을 언급하였다. 그 다음으로 자연의 일부로써 풍경이미지로서의 공간, 이미지의 반복에 의해 형성된 공간 그리고 변화하는 색조에 의해 생성 또는 소멸되는 공간으로 크게 나누어 화면에서의 공간의 형성을 서술하였다. 이러한 공간을 얻는 조형적 방법으로써 현실너머의 환영적 공간 속을 부유하고 있는 기구(balloon)이미지와 자동기술을 통한 표현방법, 현재의 지리적, 시간적 위치를 획득하기 위한 선과 점에 대해 상세히 서술하였다. 본인은 이 논문에서 이러한 조형적인 요소를 서술하고 제작과정을 밝힘으로 주제를 표현하는데 논리성을 확보하고자 하였다. 또한 작품사진과 함께 작품설명을 적절한 곳에 배치하여 보다 실제적인 이해를 돕고자 하였다.|This thesis, subject of which is my works made from 2002 to 2003, analyze and describe the motive of expression, the formation of space, and the aspect of moulding. I represent the phantom space experienced in the world of reality, that is the space of unconsciousness that goes fast by my eyes when I lead a life. It seems to come out momentarily and vanish meaninglessly, but It is remembered to me as the part existing in reality, and includes inner process of my mind. To begin with, I explain the motive of expression by describing how memory of space which I experience inreality comes near. In this part, I mentione personal experience in space, the complilation of experience and the process of catching meanings. Next I describe the formation of space in canvas by deviding the section into three, space of scenary image which is part of nature, space formed by repetition of image, and space created or extinguished by changing tone. In the moulding method of obtaining this space, I explain in detail the ballon imagine floating in phantom space, the techniques of expression by automatisme, line and spot by which we obtain geographical, time location. In this thesis I guarantee logicality in representing the subject by describing this moulding element and showing the process of producing. Also I set the pictures of work and the expression of work in fit situation for actual comprehension.
