고등학교 교사들의 협력에 관한 조사 연구

Abstract

영문초록: p. 55-57|본 연구의 목적은 교육 현장에서 나타나는 교사 협력의 실제를 밝힘으로써 교사 협력의 가능성 예측과 구체적 실현을 위한 접근 방향을 설정할 수 있도록 하는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 연구의 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학교에서 현재 이루어지고 있는 교사 협력 정도와 앞으로 이뤄지기를 바라는 교사 협력 정도는 어떠한가? 둘째, 고등학교에서 나타나는 교사 협력 유형은 어떠한가? 셋째, 고등학교에서 교사 협력의 제도적 · 환경적 장애 요인은 무엇인가? 본 연구의 연구 대상은 서울과 경기도 내에 있는 10개의 인문계 고등학교 교사 236명이었다. 연구 도구는 연구자가 직접 제작한 '고등학교 교사 협력 실태 조사' 설문지를 사용하였다. 통계 분석은 SPSS 통계프로그램을 사용하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균을 구하였으며, 요인별 차이를 검증하기 위해 x^(2)검정, t-검정, 일원배치 분산분석을 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학교에서 현재 이루어지고 있는 교사 협력 정도는 '보통'으로 활발하게 이루어지지 못하고 있으며, 교사들은 교직 현장에서 앞으로 현재 보다 더 나은 교사 협력이 이뤄지기를 기대하였다. 둘째, 고등학교에서 가장 많이 나타나는 교사 협력 유형은 '단순한 정보 교환'이었으며, 그 다음으로는 '상호적 지원'이 높게 나타났다. '일방적 지원'과 '공동 작업'은 앞선 두 형태보다 낮게 나타났으며, 그 정도는 비슷했다. 셋째, 고등학교 교사의 협력을 저해하는 요인으로는 열악한 근무 여건(협력할 시간과 공간의 부족), 권위주의적인 교직 풍토, 교사간의 불편한 인간관계, 교사의 개인주의, 미비한 학교의 협조 · 지원이 제시되었다. 이 가운데 열악한 근무 여건 개선 요구가 가장 높게 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해서, 앞으로 우리나라 고등학교 교사들이 보다 많이 협력할 수 있는 가능성이 있다는 것과 교사의 자율성은 신장하고 열악한 근무여건, 권위주의적인 교직 풍토는 개선하는 방향으로 교사협력이 이루어져야 함이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 교사 협력에 관한 기초적인 관점과 교사 협력의 실제를 드러냈다는 데 의의가 있다.|The purpose of this study is to find out the reality of teacher' collegiality at high school and to design the ways for prediction of the possibility and concrete realizations of teachers' collegiality. To achieve these purposes, themes of this study is like following. 1. How many teachers corporate each other at high schools now and how many teachers at high schools want their collegiality in the future? 2. What are the types of their corporation at high schools? 3. What makes them corporate each other in the institutional and situational factor? The subjects of this study were teachers 236 that works at 10 high schools of humanities in Seoul and Gyeonggy province. As for study tools, this study used questionary for high school teacher' collegiality. Findings are as follows: First, now the degree of teachers' collegiality at high school is middle; not high but not low, so they hope more their collegiality than before. Second, the most type of teacher' collegiality that is shown at high schools is to exchange simple information; they exchange some information that they need to do their tasks. And then the second highest type is mutual collegiality; they agree with goals, directions, contents of their tasks in a degree and this means to exchange their thoughts and their materials that they collect and make on their agreements. Unliteral support and joint work is lower than the types simple information exchange and mutual collegiality. The degree of unliteral support is similar to that of mutual collegiality. Third, factors that prevent high school teachers from collaborating each another are worst work condition (shortage of time and space to corporate each other), despotic climate of the teaching profession, uncomfortable relationships among them, individualism among them, insufficient support of school authorities. Among them teachers request to improve their bad work condition. Through the conclusion of this study, it shows that there are possibilities that high school teachers in Korea are able to corporate each other much better than before and achieve the teachers' collegiality to the way that they improve their autonomy and change their despotic climate of the teaching profession. I think that this study will help other next studies that is related to teachers' collegiality by showing basic perspectives and the reality of teachers' collegiality about teacher' collegiality.
