감성적 공간으로서의 수집상자 = 본인 작품을 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문은 2003년에 제작된 작업을 중심으로 작품의 내용과 전개과정을 정리 분석하였다. 본인에겐 기억이란 단어의 의미?? 인식하기 시작하면서부터, 손에 닿아왔던 부산물들의 일부를 모아온 수집 상자들이 있다. 그것은 삶을 통해 겪는 경험과 체험의 흔적이 수집 된 것으로써 일종의 기억의 저장(貯藏) -소(所)이다. 일반적으로 사람들은 지나간 시간 속의 이야기들을 희미하게 기억하거나 잊어버린다. 그러나 본인은 수집상자에 보관 되어진 체험의 부산물들을 통해 지나온 과거의 추억들이 좀더 오랫동안 기억에 남을 수 있게 해준다는 사실을 깨달았다. 본인은 이러한 수집상자들을 열어 보았을 때 생겨나는 정서적 현상을 표현하고자 하였다. 다시 말해 수집상자는 마음의 동요가 일게 하는 감성적 공간인 것이다. 감성적 공간으로서의 상자를 표현한 작품들을 설명하기에 앞서 상자를 모으게 된 개인적인 동기와 인간에게 일어나는 감성적 맥락을 논리적으로 설명하였다. 그리고 심상에 일어난 정서적 현상의 상징적 표현에 있어서, 왜 단순한 빈 상자의 이미지를 도입시켰는지에 대해 밝혔다. 또한, 상자란 공간으로부터 마음이 동요되어 나오는 감성표현을 점으로 함축시켜 미묘한 감정의 움직임들에 대한 표현과 여러 감정들이 확산되어 퍼지는 내면의 느낌을 표현한 배경처리 방법에 대해서도 언급하였다. ?뗍嗤렝막? 본인의 감성적 공간으로서의 수집 상자들을 표현한 작품사진과 설명을 자세히 덧붙여 소개 하였다.|This thesis is an analysis of my art work during 2003. I have some collecting boxes and use them to gather my personal belongings that I've used for long. The boxes are where I recall my personal memory and experience through my whole life. As time goes on, people gradually and naturally forget about what happened to them in the past. However, I have realized that things in my collecting box remind me of the old days and I fall into sentimental moods then. After this realization, I have tried to convey emotions in my heart when I open the boxes that drive me to go back to the past. In this page, I am briefly about to explain what inspires me to collect the boxes and finally what occurs to me from the bottom of my heart. And I also give you a full explanation about what has to do with the basic ground of my work where a number of dots are freely moving and floating. Moreover, I will introduce how I manipulate the empty space in order to deliver sentient and sentimental moods. I hope that this paper suggests enough pictures of my work and explanation for you to have better understanding about what I feel and what I learn from my work of art.
