LMS에 기반한 학습일정관리 시스템의 설계

Abstract

시간관리는 학습에 있어서 매우 중요하다. 여러 연구에서 공부의 전체 시간보다 짧은 시간이라도 계획적으로 공부하는 것이 학업성취에 영향을 끼친다는 결과가 나온 것처럼 시간의 질적 관리는 학교 교육에서 학습자 생활관리와 학업 성취와도 밀접한 관계가 있어 학습 전략의 한 방법으로 사용되기도 한다. 또한 온라인 교육이 활성화 되면서 학습에 관련된 정보들을 데이터로 축적할 수 있어서 이를 바탕으로 학습을 관리해주는 시스템을 설계해 보았다. 즉, LMS 환경에서 제공되는 과목시간표, 과제, 시험, 토론 등 학습과 관련된 정보를 기반으로 학교생활의 계획을 효율적으로 관리하고 버려지는 시간을 줄여 자신의 생활전체를 지속적으로 관리할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 학습자의 수업 시간과 같은 고정된 시간을 제외한 나머지 시간에 과제, 시험공부, 예․복습과 같이 학교생활과 관련된 학습과 취업 준비 및 기타 학습을 수행하기 위한 시간을 우선순위, 예상 수행시간, 마감일 그리고 학습자 성향을 바탕으로 시간을 배치하여 학습자의 일정을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 한다. 체계적이고 효과적인 학습자의 일정 관리를 위하여 필요한 우선순위, 예상 수행시간, 학습자 성향과 같은 요소는 설문을 통하여 조사하였으며 이를 바탕으로 LMS 기반 학습 일정 관리 시스템을 설계하였다.| Time management is very important in learning. A number of researches state that learning with planning influences to learning achievement. Time management is related to learner management and learning achievement, so it is used as a way of learning strategies in school. Moreover, on-line learning is getting popular to make it easy to accumulate data about learners and learning information. The “Learning Planning System” in Learning Management System(LMS) is suggested in this thesis. It helps to plan learner’s schedule effectively and continuously by reducing a waste of time on a basis of learner’s occasions including time table, assignments, exams, discussions, etc. The schedule is designed by putting a task of studying, doing homework, and individual studying on optimal time except for the fixed time of classes and appointments. The algorithm is based on the criteria including priority, implementation time, and deadline, etc. The detail information of criteria was derived by survey of students for reasonable design of the system.
