J. S. Bach - F. Busoni의 Chaconne 분석 연구

Abstract

Busoni (Ferruccio Benvenuto Busoni, 1866-1924) was born in Italy, he was a composer and did most of his work in Germany. He has worked in various departments such as opera, orchestra, concerto, chamber music. He was acknowledged for his composing skill in piano and was the most skillful pianist during those times. Since Busoni was a Neoclassical composer, the music he composed on that time revealed the color of music in the past. Because of this Busoni was influenced by many composers in the past and spent lots of his time studying them. The music that he worked on was retranslated to piano music and there are over one hundred music that has been retouched by him. Busoni has remade many of Bach (Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)'s music to piano music. Partita No.2 for Unaccompanied Violin BWV 1004, by Bach has been retranslated by many composers and is being played by many instruments. Busoni‘s Chaconne was retranslated for piano and is one of the most well known music by him. This paper focus the experiment Chaconne retranslated by Busoni and reveals how a monophony theme violin, original music by Bach, can be played through a piano that is a polyphony musical instrument. By understanding Busoni's method of retranslation, this will help many pianists to perform his music properly.|페루치오 벤베누토 부조니(Ferruccio Benvenuto Busoni, 1866-1924)는 이탈리아에서 태어나 독일을 중심으로 활동한 작곡가이다. 오페라, 관현악 곡, 협주곡, 실내악곡, 성악곡 등 다양한 작품 활동을 하였으며 특히 피아노 작품에서 그의 작곡가로서의 능력은 더욱 더 발휘되었다. 그 당시 최고의 피아니스트이며 편곡자, 교육자, 음악학자 등 많은 활동 업적을 남기고 있 다. 부조니는 신고전주의를 대표하는 작곡가로서 그가 추구하고자 하는 음악 은 낭만주의의 주관적인 감정 표현, 표제 음악과 같은 그 당시 음악적 특징 에 중심을 두기 보다는 이전 시대의 음악적 전통을 따르고 있다. 그래서 부 조니는 그 당시 음악보다 과거의 음악으로부터 더 많은 영향을 받았고 이전 시대 작곡가들의 작품을 연구하며, 많은 작품들을 피아노를 위한 곡으로 편 곡하였다. 부조니는 요한 세바스찬 바흐(Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)의 다 양한 작품들을 피아노곡으로 편곡하였다. 그 중에서 바흐의「무반주 바이올 린을 위한 파르티타 2번 (Partita No.2 for Unaccompanied Violin BWV 1004)」제 5악장 샤콘느는 많은 작곡가들에 의해 편곡되었으며, 지금까지 도 많은 악기로 연주되어 지고 있지만, 피아노곡으로 편곡한 부조니의 샤콘 느가 가장 많이 알려져 있는 곡 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 부조니에 의해 편곡된 샤콘느를 분석함으로써 바흐 원곡에 서의 바이올린 단선율 주제를 다성 악기인 피아노가 어떻게 표현하고 있는 지 연구 분석하며 그의 편곡 기법을 알아보고 작곡가의 의도에 따른 올바른 연주를 하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.
