'Flower'이미지를 이용한 텍스타일 디자인 연구 : 넥타이 디자인을 중심으로

Abstract

우리는 디자이너들이 연구하는 갖가지 형태와 칼라의 세계 속에 살고 있다. 디자이너들에게 가장 무한한 영감의 원천 중 하나는 바로 자연이다. 하늘과 꽃, 그리고 나비와 바다 등 끝없이 펼쳐져 있는 자연은 이제 패션 계를 위한 오마주(존경을 표시하는 행위)이다. 그 중 텍스타일이나 패션업계전반에 걸쳐 '꽃'에게 보내는 지지는 매우 열렬하다. 끝도 없이 발달하는 과학과 기계 문명에 시달리는 현대인이라면 누구나 한 번쯤 자연으로 돌아가고 싶다는 간절함을 경험해보았을 것이다. 간혹 화사하고 화려한 floral문양의 옷과 악세서리를 착용함으로써 경기 침체로 인해 저하된 기분의 상승효과를 얻기도 한다. 본 연구자는 그러한 간절함을 Ecology Life(자연의 향수)라는 테마를 통해 자연으로 돌아가고자 하는 인간의 본성을 자연물 중에서도 꽃의 형태와 이미지를 이용해 사실적으로 또는 추상적인 패턴으로 넥타이에 표현해보았다. 더욱이 향기의 대명사로 불리 우는 '꽃'을 디자인의 모티브로 활용하여 후각적 향이 아닌 시각적 향기로의 꽃 패턴으로 개개인의 로맨틱한 개성을 표현하고자 하였으며, 생활 속에 지친 영혼들이 자연의 향내에 삶의 애환과 인고의 시간을 잠시나마 잊고 휴식과 행복감을 느낄 수 있기를 바라며 작업에 임했다. 또한 꽃의 유연한 식물줄기의 형태를 부드럽고 화사한 이미지로 표현했으며, 꽃에서 배어 나오는 아름다움과 우아한 향취를 보는 즐거움으로 승화시키고자 하였다. 이번 작품들은 그동안의 본인의 삶에서 매우 큰 영감의 모티브가 되어왔던 꽃에 대한 사랑을 다양하게 표현할 수 있었던 뜻 깊고 흥미로운 작업이 되었으며, 따뜻하고 화사하고 찬란하기까지 한 플라워 넥타이를 통해 자기만의 개성을 표현할 수 있기를 기대해 본다.|We are living in the world of varied forms and colors designed by designers. One of unlimited sources for designers is just nature. Such as a sky, flower, butterfly and sea, natures are the homage (an action to express a respect) for a fashion industry. Among them, 'flowers' are very glowing throughout a textile and fashion industry. Everyone who is tired of an endlessly developing science and machine civilization seems to experience desires on returning to the nature. Sometimes, people can obtain a synergy effect of mood decreased due to a depression, by wearing colorful clothes and accessories of floral patterns. This researcher expressed a human nature which desired to return to the nature through a theme of 'Ecology Life (scent of nature) in a necktie with a realistic or abstract pattern, by using the form and image of flowers among natures. I intended to express a romantic character of individuals with the floral pattern of visual scent not an olfactory scent, by utilizing flowers called as a noun of scent as a motive of design. I wanted exhausted people to take a rest and to feel happy by forgetting joys and sorrows of life through scent of nature for a while. I expressed the shape of flower stalk in a soft and luxury image. I attempted to sublimate the beauty and scent of flowers into enjoyment. Through this work, I could have an attractive opportunity to express a love on flowers, which were the motive of nature in my life in a variety of manners. I expect that everyone can express its own unique personality through colorful and splendid floral necktie.
