F.Liszt의 순례연보 2권중 Après une Lecture de Dante의 분석연구

Abstract

Franz Liszt(1811-1886) is a born in Hungary, who represent the Romantic music at the late nineteenth century. Influenced by Romanticism, not only solo was popular, but also the piano, which can fully represent emotion, was widely used. Also there were many works for piano in this era. He was devoted to follow Romanticism, focused on musical composition of Romantic genre, and especially contributed to piano music. He had studied the new possibility of piano. In his pieces of music, if you look at his works, you can see that he has used the high technics - doubling passage, chromatic progression, double trills and tremolos, agrement arpeggio and recitative cadenza - and also caused a new envelopment of piano music through introduction of an orchestral tone color and a reverberation of sound. His music was characterized by Hungarian ethnic melody and rhythm, and influenced by the Romantic literature from Paris. Lyrical melody of Chopin and rubato were splendidly developed in his age and he was also interested in program music influenced by Berlioz and Wagner. One of the most his famous short pieces, Annees de Pelerinage, was composed after having been inspired by great landscape of Switzerland and Italy. There are 4 books in total. 「Apres une Lecture de Dante-Fantasia quasi Sonata」is the 7th piece and it is the most enormous and splendid one. He borrowed its title from the title of poem by Victor Hugo, and he composed it in accordance with 「Divina Commedia」and the poem of Victor Hugo. This has also subtile,「Fantasia quasi Sonata」, as you can see from this title, the characteristic of sonata and fantasia appears at the same time. Construction of this (introduction - exposition - development - recapitulation), which has Sonata Allegro form, is featured as Sonata. When the variation of the theme 1 appears in the part of development, it is featured as fantasia in that it was written by quasi improvisato and there is a part like cadenza. In this thesis, I considered the creative and innovative aspect of Liszt well harmonized with characteristic of free fantasia and the sonata form, through this music.|프란츠 리스트(Franz Liszt, 1811-1886)는 헝가리 태생의 음악가이자 19세기 후반의 낭만주의 음악을 대표하는 사람이다. 그는 피아노 음악에 있어서 탁월한 작곡가였고 그의 음악은 화려하고 기교적이며 그가 시도한 고도의 테크닉은 기존의 피아노라는 악기로서의 기능을 최대한 발휘하도록 했다. 그의 피아노 음악은 그의 전 작품 중에 서 가장 중요한 위치를 차지하는데 작품 수는 600여곡에 이르는 많은 양 을 보여준다. 초기작품은 기교만능하고 외향적인 편곡들이 주축을 이루고, 중년기의 피아노곡과 그의 작품은 기교를 과시한 창작곡이 주가 되며, 노년 기에는 청중들보다는 자신을 위한 내면적이고 명상적이며 평화로운 곡들이 주를 이루고 있다. 리스트는 다른 작곡가들에 비해서 많은 수의 환타지를 작곡하였고, 그 종 류도 매우 다양하다. 환타지는 다양한 유형의 곡을 의미하기 때문에 역사 적인 개념으로 이해할 필요성이 있다. 초기의 환타지는 대위법적 모방 형 태였으나 18세기 이르러서는 자유로운 즉흥연주 형태로 발전되었고 19 세기로 들어와서는 형식이 자유롭고, 작곡가의 상상력을 곡에 반영시켰 다. 20세기에 이르러서는 현대적 기법인 12음렬에 기초한 환타지도 생겨 났다. 환타지의 한 장르인 「단테를 읽고-소나타 풍의 환상곡(Apres une Lecture de Dante-Fantasia quasi Sonata)」은 리스트 최대의 소품집 인「순례연보(Annees de Pelerinage)」중 제 2권의 7번째 곡으로 가장 규모가 크고 화려한 기교가 곡의 전반에 걸쳐 나타나는 작품이다. 이 곡의 원제인「단테를 읽고(Apres une Lecture de Dante)」는 빅토 르 위고(Victor Hugo, 1802~1885)의 시의 제목에서 그대로 빌려왔으 며, 전체적으로 단테의 신곡과 위고의 시를 바탕으로 하여 작곡되었다. 이 곡은 원제 외에도 ‘소나타 풍의 환타지(Fantasia quasi Sonata)’라는 부제를 가지고 있는데 이 표현은 소나타와 환상곡의 두 구조적 성격을 나 타내고 있다. 구조에 있어서 도입부 - 제시부 - 발전부 - 재현부- 코다의 소나타 형식의 구조를 나타내고 발전부에서 제 1주제의 변형이 등장할 때 ‘즉흥곡 풍으로(quasi improvisato)’라 명기함으로써 즉흥적인 성격을 강조 하거나 카덴자와 같은 부분을 등장 시킨 것 등은 환상곡적 측면을 나타낸 다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 전형적인 소나타형식 틀 안에서 자유로운 환상곡의 성 격이 조화를 이루는 리스트의 창의적이고도 혁신적인 면모를 작품「단테 를 읽고-소나타 풍의 환상곡(Apres une Lecture de Dante-Fantasia quasi Sonata)」을 통해 고찰하고자한다.
