C'esar A. Franck 「바이올린 소나타 A장조」의 반주 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 낭만파의 바이올린 소나타 가운데서 최고의 걸작이라 꼽히는 프랑크(Ce´sar Auguste Franck : 1822-1890)의 ＜바이올린 소나타 A장조＞에 관한 논문이다. 이 작품은 전 4악장으로 구성되어 있으며 프랑크 특유의 순환형식(Cyclic Form)을 사용하고 있는데 이 곡에 사용되는 다양한 주제들은 모두 3개의 짧은 순환동기(Cyclic Motive)로부터 유래되어 각 악장간에 통일성을 준다. 모든 악곡의 분석에 있어서 화성분석이나 심화된 작곡 기법적 분석이기 보다는 각 악장별로 형식적인 큰 틀과 조성변화, 그리고 전 작품을 통일시키는 매개체인 순환동기를 바탕으로 연주자의 입장에서 어떻게 연주할 것인지에 초점을 맞추었다. 특히 프랑크의 순환 형식적 구성원리가 실내악적 소나타에 어떤 효과를 주었으며, 그의 형식원리가 어떻게 완성되었는가를 연구하였고 또, 피아노 성부만이 아닌 바이올린과의 유기적인 관계에 입각하여 하나의 음악 작품을 함께 완성해 나가는 데 있어서 반드시 지각해야 할 성부간의 특징과 연관성에 대해서도 악보 예와 함께 고찰해 보았다. 이를 위해 사용된 악보는 ＜Ce´sar Auguste Franck Violin Sonata A Major＞ of G. HENLE VERLAG이다.|This thesis is a study on the accompaniment of the 「Violin Sonata in A major」 composed by Ce´sar Frank, which is ranked as the masterpiece among Violin Sonata in romantic era. This work consists of four movements and uses a cyclic form. The various subjects used in this work derived from three short cyclic motives which provide uniformity among the movements. In terms of analyzing the whole work, this study focuses on how a performer should play this work based on a big formal frame and tonal changes in each movement and the cyclic motives which are the medium of unifying the whole work, rather than more detailed harmonic analysis or profound composition technical analysis. In particular, the study is devoted to how cyclic form of Frank affected chamber sonata and how his formation theory was completed, and also it is referring to the musical partnership and relationship between piano and violin which have to be perceived in completing a musical work with musical excerpts. The ＜Ce´sar Auguste Franck Violin Sonata in A Major＞ of G. HENLE VERLAG was used for this purpose.
