Béla Bartók의 Piano Suite Op.14에 관한 연구

Abstract

헝가리의 작곡가 벨라 바르톡(Bela Bartok 1881～1945)은 민속음악을 바탕으로 그의 어법에 맞게 독자적인 차원으로 발전시켜왔다. 그의 많은 작품 중「Piano Suite op.14」는 1916년에 작곡된 현대조곡으로 모두 4개의 곡으로 이루어져 있는데, 먼저 제 1곡은 3부 형식의 Allegretto로 2박자 리듬이 활발한 진행을 하며 주제 음형이 지속적으로 변형, 발전되어간다. 간단한 리듬이지만 쉼표, 테누토의 사용으로 리듬에 변화를 주었으며 온음음계 사용과 민속적 요소인 액센트 위치의 변화, 오스티나토 리듬으로 타악기적 효과를 내었다. 제 2곡은 론도(Rondo)형식으로 전체에 걸쳐 4분음표에 의한 스타카토로 이루어진 3박자의 Scherzo이다. 증3화음의 사용과 단2도의 불협화음이 반복적으로 나타나며 지속음, 온음음계 구성의 장식음을 사용하였다. 제 3곡은 1곡과 같은 3부 형식으로 D음으로 시작되는 단2도와 장2도의 구성으로 이루어진 오스티나토 리듬이 곡 전체에 나타나며, Allegro molto의 매우 빠르고 역동적인 진행을 한다. 마지막으로 제 4곡은 제 1, 3곡과 같은 3부 형식으로 이루어져 있으며, 전체에 걸쳐 당김음 리듬이 사용되었다. 앞의 3개의 곡과는 매우 대조적인 Sostenuto로 감성적이고 조용하게 시작되어 중심조인 B♭으로 종지함으로 조성적 통일감을 보여준다. 그러므로, 본 논문은 먼저 20세기 전반에 걸친 건반 음악의 일반적인 특징과 바르톡의 생애를 돌아보고, 「Piano Suite op.14」의 곡에 특징적으로 나타나는 형식, 조성 및 화성, 선율, 리듬을 통하여 기존의 조성음악에 바르톡만의 독특한 음악적 어법으로 발전시켜 나간 특징들을 살펴봄으로써, 바르톡의 작곡 기법뿐만 아니라 연주에 실제적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 해석을 제시하고자 한다.|Be'la Barto'k, who was the famous composer of Hungary, developed unique music by applying his expression to folk music. Among his many works, piano Seite op.14 is a modern music composed in 1916, which consists of 4 movements. The first movement consists of 3 parts. Its various rhythm makes active progression and main form is continuously transformed and developed. The second movement is in Rondo form. This movement is scherzo of triple time consisting of staccato with quarter note. The third movement consists of 3 parts like the first movement. It progresses rapidly and dynamically through allegro molto. Finally, the fourth movement consists of 3 parts like the first and third movement. Unlike the previous 3 movements, it begins in calm sostenuto and ends in main tone, B^(b). The researcher tries to understand the charzcteristics, which Barto'k developed by using his musical expression on the basis of existing music, through characteristic form, harmony, melody and rhythm in 4 mevements. This thesis is a study on Be'la Barto'k's piano Suite Op. 14 and tries to Provide helpful insights for interpretation of his composition.
