대학교 유형에 따른 구직활동 참여와 진로·직업 인식, 대학생활 만족도의 구조적 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 구직활동 참여가 대학생활 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 진로·직업 인식의 매개효과를 확인하고, 그 효과에 대한 대학교 유형의 차이를 검증하고자 하였다. 한국교육고용패널조사Ⅱ의 7차년도(2023년) 자료를 활용 하여 385명을 대상으로 구조방정식모형 분석과 대학교 유형에 따른 다중집단분석을 각각 수행하고 다음의 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 대학생이 인식한 구직활동 참여와 대학생활 만족도의 관계에서 진로·직업 인식이 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘 째, 대학교 유형(4년제, 2·3년제)에 따른 구직활동 참여와 진로·직업 인식, 대학생활 만족도의 관계에서 경로의 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 4년제 집단은 구직활동 참여가 진로·직업 인식을 부분매개로 하여 대학생활 만족도에 이르는 반면에 2·3년 제 집단은 구직활동 참여가 진로·직업 인식을 완전매개로 하여 대학생활 만족도에 이르는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 구직활동 참여가 진로·직업 인식에 이르는 경로 및 진로·직업 인식이 대학생활 만족도에 이르는 경로는 각각 4년제 집단보다 2·3년제 집단이 1.2배 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 앞선 연구의 결과를 종합하여 대학생활 만족도를 제고할 수 있는 교육학적 논의와 후속연구 제언을 제시하였다.

Job Search Participation on Campus Life Satisfaction, and to verify the Differences in the Effect of Institutional Types. Using data from the 7th year (2023) of KEEPⅡ, we conducted a Structural Equation Model Analysis and a Multiple Group Analysis by Institutional Types on 385 participants and found the following results. However, the Four-year Cohort showed a Partial Mediation of Job Search Participation from Career and Vocational Awareness to Campus Life Satisfaction, while the Two- or Three-year Cohort showed a Full Mediation of Job Search Participation from Career and Vocational Awareness to Campus Life Satisfaction. Furthermore, the Paths from Job Search Participation to Career and Vocational Awareness and from Career and Vocational Awareness to Campus Life Satisfaction were 1.2 times higher for the Two- or Three-year cohort than for the Four-year cohort. Synthesizing the Results of the Previous Studies, this paper presents pedagogical discussions and recommendations for further research to improve Campus Life Satisfaction.
