예비교사의 다문화 교육역량 강화 프로그램 운영 효과 분석

Abstract

다문화 교육 역량 강화 프로그램은 예비 교사들의 다문화 교육 능력을 향상시 키는 데 중점을 둔 중요한 연구 성과물이다. 이 프로그램은 예비 교사들이 현직 교사와 함께 다문화 교육 세미나에 참여하고, 실제 수업을 설계하고 시연하는 과정을 통해 실질적인 역량을 기를 수 있도록 설계되었다. 프로그램의 목표는 다문화 교육의 필요성을 인식시키고, 예비 교사들이 학교 현장에서 이를 어떻게 효과적으로 적용할 수 있을지에 대한 실천적인 지식을 제공하는 것이다. 이를 통해 예비 교사들은 다문화 교육의 중요성을 깊이 인식하고, 전공 교과에 대한 열정과 만족도를 높일 수 있었다. 프로그램에 참여한 사범대 학생들은 그동안 이론 중심의 교육에 치중했던 한계를 벗어나, 실제 학교 현장에서 발생하는 문제를 고민하게 되었다. 특히 다문화 가정 학생들이 급증하는 현실 속에서, 이들은 다문화 교육의 필요성 을 절감했다. 다문화 사회에서 어떤 교육이 필요하며, 이를 효과적으로 수행하는 방법에 대한 논의가 이루어진 점은 긍정적이다. 또한, 예비 교사들은 다문화 교육에 대한 체계적 인 인식을 갖추게 되었다. 세미나와 수업 시연을 통해 이들은 다문화 교육의 중요성과 필요성을 구체적으로 깨달았고, 그 결과 실제 수업에 적용할 수 있는 지식과 역량을 보완할 수 있었다. 교수 내용 지식(PCK) 역량이 강화된 것도 이번 프로그램의 성과로 볼 수 있다. 예비 교사들이 이론적 지식을 넘어, 학생들에게 교과 내용을 어떻게 효과적 으로 전달할지 고민하며, 실질적인 수업 계획과 시연을 통해 자신의 수업 역량을 한층 더 발전시켰다는 점은 앞으로의 교육 현장에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이다. 이 프로그램 이 다문화 교육 역량을 강화하는 데 어떻게 기여했는지에 대한 장기적인 영향을 분석하 는 연구는 후속 연구과제로 이어갈 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to improve the multicultural teaching skills of preservice teachers through a multicultural teaching competency building program. The program is designed to help preservice teachers develop practical skills through participating in multicultural education seminars with in-service teachers and designing and demonstrating actual lessons. The goal of the program is to raise awareness of the need for multicultural education and provide pre-service teachers with practical knowledge to apply it effectively in the classroom. Students who participated in the program were able to break free from the limitations of theoretical education and consider issues that arise in the real world. In particular, they realized the need for multicultural education as the number of students from multicultural families is increasing rapidly. They discussed what kind of education is needed in a multicultural society and how to effectively implement it, and gained a systematic awareness of multicultural education. Through seminars and classroom demonstrations, they were able to concretely realize the importance and necessity of multicultural education, and as a result, they were able to supplement their knowledge and competence in applying it in the classroom. The strengthening of their pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) skills is another outcome of the program. The fact that the pre-service teachers went beyond theoretical knowledge to consider how to effectively convey the content to students, and further developed their teaching skills through practical lesson plans and demonstrations, will have a positive impact on their future teaching practice. Further research will analyze the long-term impact of how the program contributed to strengthening multicultural teaching capacity.
