정의적 영역 함양을 위한 올림픽 교육 프로그램의 교사 인식 탐색

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 학생들의 정의적 영역 함양을 위한 올릭픽 교육 프로그램의 가치에 대한 교사의 인식을 통해 학교 현장에 지속적으로 올림픽 정신의 가치를확산시킬 수 있는지를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 초등학교 교사 7명을 선정하여심층 면담을 진행하였다. 연구 결과 승리 지상주의 및 학교 밖으로 정의적 영역의전이가 되지 않는 문제점을 확인하였다. 반면 올림픽 교육 프로그램은 주제에 대한친숙함 및 높은 흥미로 인해 이를 극복할 수 있는 교육적 가치를 지니고 있었으며, 특히 학교 교육에서 쉽게 다룰 수 없는 가치교육이 가능함을 확인하였다. 학교 현장의적용성을 높이기 위해서는 올림픽 교육 프로그램의 질적 평가 적용 및 실질적이고지도가 가능한 내용으로 구성되어야 할 것이다.

The aim of this study was to investigate the potential of teachers' perceptions of the Olympic education program's value in fostering students' understanding of core principles and developing affective aspects as a means to sustainably disseminate the Olympic spirit in school curricula. To achieve this, seven elementary school teachers were selected for in-depth interviews. The findings revealed issues of triumphalism and inadequate transfer of principles beyond the school environment. However, the Olympic education program offered a unique avenue to address these challenges due to its inherent familiarity and high interest, particularly in the context of values education and the affective domain, which are often underrepresented in traditional school curricula. To enhance the effectiveness of the Olympic Education Program in schools, it is recommended to implement qualitative evaluation methods and adapt the program to be more practical and teachable.
