도덕과 통일교육 역량 강화에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 도덕과가 통일교육에 있어서 역량을 강화하는 방안에 대해 논의한다. 도덕과는 교육과정에 있어서 통일교육의 중핵 교과로서의 역할을 해왔다. 그러나교육과정이 개정되면서 도덕과 교육과정에서 통일교육에 대한 영역 및 내용이 많이축소되었다. 특히 ‘7차 개정교육과정’에서 ‘09 개정교육과정’으로 이행하면서 이러한현상이 두드러졌다. 이러한 교육과정의 변화에 따라 교과서에도 통일교육의 체계 및영역과 내용에 있어서 많은 변화가 나타났다. 특히 고등학교 교육과정에서의 통일교육은 ‘생활과 윤리’과목에서만 다루고 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 이러한 문제의식을바탕으로 본 연구에서는 고등학교 교육과정을 중심으로 도덕과의 교육과정에 따른통일교육 변천에 대해 살펴보고, 도덕과가 통일교육에 있어서 다른 교과와의 차별화를통해 역량을 강화할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

This study discusses measures to elevate the competency of Moral subject in unification education. Moral subject, as a core course, have played a critical role in the area of unification education. With the revision of national curriculum, however, the area and contents about unification education were severely curtailed. This phenomenon became apparent in the revision from 7th national curriculum to 09 national curriculum. In accordance with the alteration of curriculum, the textbook also went through several changes in its system, area, and contents. In high-school education curriculum in particular, unification education is dealt with only in “Living and Ethics”. Based upon this awareness, this study reviews the changes of unification education in accordance with the curriculum of Moral subject, and then presents some measures to elevate the competency of Moral subject in unification education with the differentiation with other subject courses.
