통일교육의 또 다른 시선

Abstract

이 논문은 평화⋅통일교육을 평화에 기반하여 통일을 이루고 통일 이후 평화로운 삶을 일구어가기 위해 필요한 지식, 가치관 및 태도, 실천능력을 기르는 교육이라고 정의하고, 이를 바탕으로 평화⋅통일교육이 지향하는 핵심역량을 문제발견역량, 갈등해결 역량, 평화문화 구축 역량, 공동체 형성 역량으로 규명하였다. 그리고 평화⋅통일교육이 지향하는 핵심역량 논의에서 바탕이자 공통분모를 남과 북의 사람들의 ‘소통’, 특히 이중구동(異中求同)의 소통이라고 보았다. 이러한 관점을 바탕으로 이 연구는 첫째, 진정한 소통이 어떤 것인지를 부버의 관계철학에 기반한 대화 논의를 통해 ‘나-너’의 대화의 특성을 살펴보고, 이러한 대화철학의 논의에서 다름의 문제를 바라보는 시각을 유학의 화와 화이부동과 관련시켜 고찰하였다. 둘째, 이러한 관점을 바탕으로 이 연구는 첫째, 진정한 소통이 어떤 것인지를 부버의 관계철학과 논어의 화이부동과 관련시켜 고찰하였다. 끝으로, 실제 학교 평화⋅통일교육에서 학습자들의 이중구동형 소통 역량을 증진하기 위한 소재를 공연예술 분야를 중심으로 살펴보았다.

This paper defines peaceful unification education as an education that fosters knowledge, values, attitudes, and practical skills necessary to achieve unification based on peace and build a peaceful life after unification. Based on this, the core competencies of peace and unification education were identified as problem discovery, conflict resolution, peace culture construction, and community formation competence. In the discussion of key competencies that peace and unification education aims for, the foundation and common denominator was seen as “communication,” especially Yìzhōngqiútóng communication between the people of the North. and the South Korea. Based on this point of view, this study first investigated what kind of true communication is related to Buber s philosophy of relations and the Héérbùtóng(和而不同) in The Analects of Confucius. Finally, this paper examined the field of performing arts to promote the Yìzhōngqiútóng form of communication of learners in real peace and unification education in schools.
