학생 선택형 교육과정의 체육교수 경험에 관한 셀프 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 체육대학에 진학하고자 하는 고등학생들이 학생 선택형교육과정을 통해 어떤 기대감을 가지고 있고, 이를 충족시키기 위한 교수자의 노력들을 종합적으로 검토함으로써 학생 선택형 교육과정의 활성화 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 2017년부터 3년간 체육 교육과정 클러스터를 지도한 교수자 경험을셀프연구로 수행하였으며, 학생들의 수업사진과 수업소감문 외에 수업 일지, 가정통신문, 학생 면담 일지 등의 자료를 수집하였다. 교수 초기에 경험한 어색함, 괴리감, 당황함을 극복하고자 학생들의 체육에 대한 생각의 전환 및 확장, 그리고 책임감 향상을 위한 전략을 세웠으며, 다양한 스포츠 경험, 타 교과와의 융합수업, 그리고 수업시연으로 이를 구체화시켜 실천하였다.

The purpose of this study is to review a sense of expectation of perspective undergraduate students of physical education to student-centered curriculum and to examine a teacher’s related effort, searching for ideal methods to promote optimal student-centered curriculum. Three years (2017 to 2019) of the teaching experiences, school newsletters, student interview journals, teaching journals, and class reviews were collected and utilized in this self study. Collectively, the study describes a teacher’s strategic plan to overcome a teacher’s embarrassment caused by gap between reality and ideal during early stage of physical education program and a variety of the applied methods (Participation in sports, convergence class, pre-service teachers’ microteaching) to change students’ mind in positive ways.
