청소년 직업카드를 활용한 학교 진로교육 수업의 효과성 분석

Abstract

이 연구는 학교에 기반하여 청소년을 대상으로 제공된 전문기관 보급형 직업카드와 교육프로그램을 활용한 수업의 효과를 중학생과 고등학생 비교의 관점에서 분석하는데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위하여 2개 중⋅고등학교를 추출, 실험집단(중: 36명, 고: 26명)을 대상으로 3차시(3주)의 직업카드 활용 수업을 진행한 후 통제집단(중:37명, 고: 26명)과 비교분석하였다. 기초기술통계 분석 결과, 진로성숙도, 진로결정수준, 진로정체감 등에서 고등학생은 중학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 달리 진로결정효능감에 있어서는 중학생과 고등학생 간 통계적으로 유의한 수준의 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 직업카드 활용의 효과를 분석한 결과, 중학생의 경우 직업카드를 활용한 교육적 개입이 진로성숙도, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로결정수준, 진로정체감을 향상시키는데 긍정적으로 작용하였다. 이와 달리 고등학생의 경우 직업카드를 활용한 수업 참여 후 진로정체감에서는 긍정적인 변화가 나타났으나 진로성숙도, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로결정수준에서는 긍정적 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 이론적 논의와 실천적 시사점을 도출하였다.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of using the commercial vocational cards for youths which has been developed by career professional organization. To accomplish this purpose, pretest-posttest design was employed to compare the change of experimental group(62 students) after attending 3 hours career class with that of control group(63 students). The results show that high school students are higher than middle school students in terms of career maturity, career identity, and career decision level, while two groups do not have a significant difference in terms of career self-efficacy. On the one hand, to use vocational cards in the classroom for middle school students is effective in improving career maturity, career self-efficacy, career identity, and career decision level. On the other hand, a career education with vocational cards for high school students does not have a significant effect to improve their career maturity, career self-efficacy, and career decision level except career identity. Based on these research results, academic and practical implications are suggested.
