현직 교사들이 개발한 STEAM(Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) 기반 과학영재교육프로그램 분석

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 현직 교사들이 개발한 STEAM(Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) 기반 영재교육 프로그램들을 분석하는 것이다. 분석틀은 목적, 내용 특성, 교육 활동 준거, 교수-학습 전략, 평가로 구성되었다. 분석 결과 프로그램 목표는 명확하게 제시되었고 성취가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 심화학습 모형은 대부분의 프로그램에서 활용되었다. 또한 STEAM 요소에 대한 분석 결과 대부분 활동 중심과탐구 중심 활동들이었다. 특히 영재교육을 위한 교수-학습 모형은 활용 되지 않았는데 이에 대한 개선이 필요하다. 평가 분석에서 평가법은 매우 다양하였으나, 평기 기준은 세부적으로 제시되지 않았다. 이 연구의 결과는 영재교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초 자료를 제공할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze STEAM based-gifted and talented education programs which were developed by in-service teachers. The analysis framework consist of purpose, property of contents, standard of education activity, teaching-learning strategies, evaluation. The result of analysis was showed that purpose of program was stated clearly and appears to be high achievement expectancy. Accelerated instruction model was used in almost Programs. Also in the analysis on factors of STEAM, the majority were activity-centered and inquiry-centered activities. Especially teaching-learning model for gifted and talented education were not used. Therefore improvement to such result is needed. In the analysis of evaluation, evaluation methods were used very various, but evaluation standards were not presented in detail. The result of this study will provide a basic data for development of gifted and talented education programs
