사회과 경제교육과정 설계를 위한 교과지식의 재구조화 방안

Abstract

이 연구는 사회과 경제 영역에서 학문지식과 학교지식을 매개할 수 있는 교과지식을 어떻게 구조화할 수 있는지를 탐색한다. 이를 위하여, 경제 영역의 학문지식이라 할 수 있는 경제학의 구조와 학교 지식으로서 지난 10년 간의 교육과정 변화를 살펴본다. 또한 경제 영역의 교과지식을 구성하기 위한 다양한 시도들을 검토한다. 이를 바탕으로, 사회과 경 제교육과정 설계를 위한 교과지식의 재구조화 방안으로 ‘경제학 지식과 쟁점의 결합’이라는 아이디어를 제시한다.

This article explores how to organize ‘subject knowledge’ which mediates ‘disciplinary knowledge’ and ‘school knowledge’ in the field of economic education. For the purpose of it, this study reviews the structure of economics as subject knowledge and the recent changes of national curriculum on social studies as school knowledge. In addition, a variety of research to organize subject knowledge in the field of economic education is examined. Finally, this paper suggests the idea of ‘combining of economic knowledge and controversial issues’ as a way to organize subject knowledge which can give assistance to designing economics-related school curriculum.
