갈등의 문학교육적 의의

Abstract

본 연구는 허구적 서사를 구성하는 미학적 장치 중 하나인 갈등이 문학교육적 관점에서 어떠한 교육적 의의를 지니는가를 검토하는데 목적이 있다. 갈등은 문학 작품의 중요한 요소이자 문학 이론의 내용이다. 그러나 교과교육학의 관점에서 문학 지식으로서 갈등의 위상이 문학교육에서도 그대로 수용되거나 인정되는 것은 곤란하다. 갈등이 문학교육의 지식으로 선정되기 위해서는 그에 따른 학문적, 교육적 적합성을 갖추어야 한다. 본 연구는 갈등이 국어과 교육과정과 교과서에 반영된 양상을 검토하여 넓은 의미에서 갈등의 교수학적 변환 양상을 고찰하고자 한다. 그 과정을 통해 학습자가 허구적 서사에서 갈등에 대한 경험과 이해를 바탕으로 현실 독자로서 자신의 삶을 성찰하고 조망할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 나아가 그 과정을 통해 ‘더 원대한 자기 이해’에 도달할 수 있도록 하는 것으로 갈등의 문학교육적 의의를 재인식하고자 한다.

This study is to review the educational meaning of conflict as aesthetic tool composing fictional prose in terms of cultural and educational viewpoint in traditional poetry. Conflict is a key literary factor which should be understood necessarily in order to understand prose and contents of literary theory. However, it is troublesome the meaning of conflict is possible to be accepted in itself since conflict is important in literary knowledge. To select conflict as cultural and educational details, suitability of literature and education should be arranged. For this purpose, this study reviews education curriculum and text books which are relevant to teaching conversion media and considers the educational reflection aspect. In short, it makes learners reflect their own lives and review them based on experience and understanding conflict in fictional prose and through this course, reach ‘Further Self-Understanding’ which is pretty required.
