초등학생의 생활세계 경험에 기반한 초등 역사학습의 방향성 모색

Abstract

본 연구는 학습자와 학습 내용이 유리된 초등 역사교육의 문제점과 초등 역사교육에서 상대적으로 학습자에 대한 연구가 부족했다는 반성에서 출발하였다. 초등 역사학습은 학생의 생활세계의 경험과 관련지어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 초등학생들이 겪고 있는 생활세계의 경험과 관련지어 교과서에 제시된 과거 생활도구에 대한 인식 형성의 실체와 이에 대한 경로를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 초등학생 30명을 대상으로 한 심층 면담 결과, 과거 생활도구에 대한 역사 인식의 특징이 도출되었다. 첫째, 과거 생활도구를 생활세계 경험과 관련지어 생각한다. 둘째 과거 생활도구를 현재와 관련지어 인식한다. 셋째, 과거 생활도구에 대한 미지의 호기심이 관심과 흥미의 원천이다. 넷째, 과거 생활도구와 자신이 직접 체험했던 경험과 관련지어 인식한다는 점이 드러났다. 이를 토대로 한 초등 역사학습의 교수ㆍ학습의 방향이 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생의 생활세계 경험과 관련된 익숙한 소재와 내용으로 선정해야 한다. 둘째, 현재의 생활세계에서 출발하여 과거와 연결시키는 학습이어야 한다. 셋째, 재현활동, 제작 학습 등 학생의 체험이 담긴 학습방법이 설정되어야 한다. 넷째, 영상, 멀티미디어 등 이미지에 의해 형성된 생활세계 경험에 대해 도입이 이루어져야 한다.

The elementary historical studying has to be based on their history awarenesses based on the world of life of the student. The direction of the Teaching and learning of the elementary grade historical studying described below is this like the next as the foundation. First, it has to select as the skilled meterial and content related to the student's right-foot shoot. Second, it has to be the learning which starts from the current world of life and which it connects with the past. Third, the learning method that experience of the student including the reappearance activity, manufacture learning, and etc. is contained has to be set up. Forth, the introduction has to be made about the world of life experience formed by the image including the image, multimedia, and etc.
