동서대학교 미디어센터의 중등학교와의 연계미디어 프로그램 설계 가능성 배경

Abstract

본 논문에서는 동서대학교의 미디어센터의 중등학교 연계 프로그램 설계 가능성의 배경에 대하여 검토하였다. 동서대학교의 디지털영상디자인혁신센터의 사업추진 배경 및 특징을 살펴보았고, 동서미디어센터를 자세히 소개하였다. 그리고 중, 고생들의 참여프로그램으로는 어떠한 것들이 있는지 살펴보았다.

Dongseo Education Foundation, established in 1970, founded Dongseo University in 1992 and is quite young and energetic. Dongseo Universi-ty, founded on the spirits of Christianity, pursued perfecting their per-sonality and raising elites, who can contribute and sacrifice for the human beings, by educating them diverse sources of disciplines and dynamic activities on and out campus. Dongseo University, based on the spirits of sharing and dedication, is the one which raises the elites who are the Only One, and rates research and Volunteer services as the number one priority, and pursues becoming one with the world. In addition, in order to realize the spirits of the University and accom-plich the purposes of education, Dongseo University already implemen-ted "5 Educational Innovations" including innovations in educational contents, environments, administrative institutions, and evaluation systems and established "4 Educational Objective" such as English Education, Information Education, Personality Education, and Combined Ind-ustry-Academic Fields Education. As a result, Dongseo University was awarded the best university by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources in such fields as Globalization and Information in 1996, Combined Fields of University and community in 1998, self-implemented educational innovation in 2000 and 2001. Dongseo University was also appointed as a hub university by the Ministry of Industry and Resources in digital design and subseq-uently established "Digital Image Design Innovation Center" financed by the Ministry. In addition, The Ministry also appointed Dongseo Uni-versity as a "Center for Raising High Level Elites for Shoe Industry and Technical Specialists" And in Year 2001, Korean Council for Unive-rsity Education evaluated Dongseo University as "the Best University in the General Education and Design". Digital Image Design Innovation Center: Digital Image Design Innovation Center was established as a stepping board to implement national policy for design and Busan Metropolitan City Government policy for 10 core industry raising policy including industries for film, software etc.. By converting the design environment for Small & Medium sized design entities and native industries(shoe, and fashion and textiles) into digital design environment, DIDIC pursues establishing infrastruct-ure for design companies. DIDIC provides innovation of design minds of the Chief Exective Officers and designers, and innovative design-cen-tered services for local design firms. DIDIC provides local design SMEs for the state-of-the-art equipment at the lowest cost, design services, and education to raise specialists in digital image and design and also purses combined technology devel-poment. And DIDIC also established virtual reality system and digital -image and design database. Dongseo Media Center: Opened in September 17, 1999, Dongseo Media Center basically intend-ed to better respond to changes in mass media environment in the 21st century, and raise wise elites. To be more specific, Dongseo Media Center implements to combine theoretical foundation and field on-the-job education and incubates businesses in advertising, video and video and film academy and others. Dongseo Media Center pursues educational support as a basic purpose and so becomes a on-the-job training facilities for departments of Digi-tal Video and Mass Communications, and Digital Design, Performance and Arts. As performance results, Dongseo Media Center produced a TV drama with PSB(Pusan Broading Station, a local station), a Formal Documen-tary Film for Busan Film Festival, varioyus TV commercials, and other programs combined with MBC Busan, PSB.
