인문학 위기에 대한 진단과 한국어학을 위한 제언 -연구대상, 방법론, 융합, 효용성을 중심으로-

Abstract

인문학의 위기는 연구 대상과 방법론의 진부함, 소통/융합의 부족, 현실적 효용성증명 실패 등으로 인해 초래되었다. 이를 극복하기 위해서는 현실 문제 해결에 주목하고, 문제의 복잡성에 대응하기 위해 융합 연구를 활성화하고, 새로운 연구 대상과 방법론을 적극 포용할 필요가 있다. 한국어학의 경우, 타 언어와의 비교/대조 연구, 디지털 기술의 활용을 활성화할 필요가 있다. 그러한 방향의 연구 사례로서 박완서 단편소설의 텍스트마이닝, 한국어 양태 종결어미와 중국어 문말어기사의 계량적 대조 연구를 제시하였다.

The crisis of humanities was caused by the banality of research subjects and methodologies, lack of communication and convergence among disciplines, and failure to prove realistic utility. To overcome this, it is necessary to focus on solving real-world problems, activate interdisciplinary research to respond to the complexity of problems, and actively embrace new research objects and methodologies. In the case of Korean linguistics, it is necessary to activate comparative/contrastive studies with other languages and the utilization of digital technologies. As examples of research in this direction, I present two case studies: text-mining of short stories by Park Wan-seo and a quantitative contrastive study of sentence-final modal particles of Korean and Chinese.
