晚清 海外遊記와 중국근대언론과의 상관성 고찰

Abstract

청말 이래 서양언론문물의 흥기는 중국 사회의 정치·사상 방면에 큰 영향을 끼쳤을 뿐만 아니라, 해외유기 발전에도 일정한 영향을 끼쳤다. 19세기 초 서양의 근대언론문물이 유입되고 인쇄술이 발달하자 출사유기 또한 광범한 유통 경로를 개척하게 되었다. 이전에는 단지 소수의 지식인에 의해 읽혔던 해외유기는 점차 대중의 문화공간으로 진입하기 시작하면서 작가와 독자와의 상호작용도 가능해졌으며 상업적 가치도 지니게 된다. 1895년 청일전쟁 패배 후, 신문 잡지는 정론성을 띠기 시작하고, 이에 해외유기도 民智를 계발하고 정치적 이념을 널리 보급하는 역할을 하게 된다. 자신의 사회ㆍ정치적 이념을 전파하는 데 있어 해외에서의 경험은 이를 방증하는 꽤 유력한 논거가 되었으며, 이로 인해 해외유기의 보고문학적 기능이 부각되었다.

Since the end of the Qing Dynasty, the rise of Western media cultural relics not only exerted great influence on the political and ideological aspects of Chinese society, but also on the development of overseas travelogue prose. Since the introduction of modern Western media relics in the early 19th century, the development of printing has led to the opening of a wide distribution channel for Overseas Travel writing. In addition, Overseas Travel writing, which used to be read only by a small number of intellectuals, has gradually entered the cultural space of the public, and interaction between writers and readers has become possible and commercial. After the defeat of the Sino-Japanese War in 1895, newspaper magazines began to take on a political aspect, and this led to the development of overseas abandonment and the dissemination of political ideology. Overseas experience has become an adjunct to the dissemination of one's own social and political ideas. It is a strong argument to prove this, so it highlights the function of reporting literature in Overseas Travel writing.
