Abstract

The highest achievements in the modern Chinese novels is the Local Novels. One of creation themes of `Poetic Novels` is the `Local`. These novels usually use `remembrance` and `dream` in the `Poetic Construction` of the `Local`. On the one hand, it expresses the individual`s suffering of loss and the feelings of life, while on the other hand, it also constantly tries to conceal these emotions by means of `recalling` and `dreaming`, which strengthens the novel`s poetic implications. This kind of `poetic novels` originated from the `Lu Xun`s novels creation, and `Zhou Zuoren`s theory. In addition, it has formed a clue of development and succession with clear context in the history of modern Chinese novels. In particular, it can be broadly classified into two categories: one of which is affected by Lu Xun, mixed with a sad criticism in the memories of `Local`. For example, they are works of such as writers Xiao Hong, Shi Tuo etc. The other is affected by Zhou Zuoren. These works are focuses on `dreams` and contains `beautiful sadness` in it. It is mainly works of such as writers Fei Ming, Shen Congwen, Wang Zengqi etc.
