인문과학 연구,개발(R&D) 방안 연구 -인문R&D 관련 해외 선도 사례분석을 중심으로-

Abstract

This research dwells on the position of ‘Humanities R&D(Research & Development)’ which is under evaluated by academics, society, even government. With literature review, this paper found out the concept of Humanities R&D has been officially a part of R&D. However Humanities R&D is still dependent on the dominant scientific R&D usually. Humanities R&D would have 3 sub categories such as R&D of Pure Internal Endeavor, R&D of Contributing to Other Field and R&D of Interactive Convergence. I selected typical cases fit for each 3 categories of Humanities R&D and analyzed the characteristics and process of R&D. Findings are that there are favorable achievements and also some negative aspects in the field of Humanities R&D. Participants are still not proactive toward their own R&D. Outsiders tend to regard Humanities R&D not urgent and important like science and technology. In order to overcome such challenges, leaders of Humanities R&D should find proper strategy such as concentration on the area of Traditional Knowledge (T.K.) of Korea which is more competitive than the other countries.
