누가 불매운동에 참여하는가

Abstract

본 연구는 2018년 한국종합사회조사 자료를 이용하여 불매운동이 어떠한 요인에 의해 추동되는지에 대한 분석을 시행하였다. 본 연구는 시민자발성 모델에 근거하여불매운동의 참여에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 살펴보았다. 자원의 요소 중 교육수준은 불매운동 참여에 매우 영향을 미쳤다. 심리적 관여 측면에서 정치효능감과 인권교육의 정도, 사회적 연결망의 참여 정도 역시 참여에 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 기타 기업과 관련한 변수 중에서는 기업의 호감도를 결정하는 요인 중 투명경영이 일부 영향을 미쳤다. 이를 종합하여 보면 불매운동과 관련해 물질적 조건보다는 고등교육이나 인권교육, 정치효능감, 네트워크 참여 등 인지적이고 관계적 측면이 중요한 것을 알 수있었다. 이러한 점은 학교와 사회 및 집단을 통한 정치적 대화와 토론 및 교육의 중요성을 다시금 강조한다고 할 수 있다.

This study conducted an analysis on which factors drive the boycott in Korea by using data from the 2018 Korean General Social Survey(KGSS). This study examined the factors influencing the participation of the boycott based on the citizen voluntary model. According to the analysis, the level of education had a great influence on participation in the boycott among the factors of resources. In terms of psychological involvement, political efficacy, the degree of human rights education, and the degree of the social network also had a great influence on participation. In general, it was seen that cognitive and relational aspects such as education, human rights education, political efficacy, and network participation are more important than material conditions to determine to participate the boycott. This result shows that the importance of political dialogue, discussion, and education to encourage the political activities.
