Author(s): 조정민; 김연하
Abstract: Background
Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) is a common concern among older adults in the South Korean population. Thus, non-pharmacological interventions are needed to reduce cognition, communication, and mood complaints.
Objective
This study evaluated the effects of a Roadmap Time-Traveling Intervention program (RMTI), a digital reminiscence therapy intervention, on cognitive measurements, communication, and mood in older adults with SCD.
Methods
Fifty participants were randomly assigned to the experimental or control group. Cognitive function, communication difficulties, quality of life (QoL), depression, and anxiety were assessed at baseline (T0), immediately after the intervention (T1), and four weeks post-intervention (T2). Generalized estimation equations were utilized to analyze the program's effectiveness over time (T0-T1) between groups. A repeated measures ANOVA and the Friedman/Wilcoxon signed-rank tests examined changes across the three time points (T0-T1-T2) within the experimental group. The study followed the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials guidelines.
Results
The experimental group exhibited significant improvements in the Korean version of the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE-K) scores (p &lt; .001) and QoL (p &lt; .001) compared with the control group: MMSE-K scores (Ⲭ² = 9.55, p = .</summary>

Author(s): 김동희; 조영일; 권아름; 김효진; 박은서; 서정환
Abstract: Purpose: Children with precocious puberty undergo rapid physical changes that may lead to behavioral problems. Parenting style, along with parental stress and coping mechanisms, are important parental factors that affect the development of behavioral problems in children. Therefore, we examined the serial mediating effects of parenting style and parent’s coping mechanisms on the relationship between parental stress and behavioral problems in girls with precocious puberty.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study analyzed a convenience sample of 200 mothers of girls with precocious puberty at a university hospital located in a metropolitan area of Korea. Mothers completed The Parental Stress Measurement, Parents as Social Context Questionnaire, Coping Inventory for Stress Situations, and Korean version of the Child Behavior Checklist 6–18. Descriptive statistics, t-tests, Pearson’s correlations, and bootstrap analyses were used to analyze the collected data.
Results: Parental stress from family and personal roles triggers emotion-oriented coping, which reinforces negative parenting and contributes to children’s behavioral issues. Conversely, stress from relationships promotes task-focused coping, which enhances positive parenting attitudes and reduces negative ones.
Conclusion: Interventions should be de</summary>

Abstract: Purpose: This study was conducted to update the practice guidelines for intravenous infusion therapy published in 2017, focusing on the most recent evidence for peripheral intravenous infusion therapy. Methods: The guideline update was conducted using the 22-step methodology. Results: The updated guidelines consist of 17 domains and 235 recommendations (including 284 sub-recommendations). The domains are as follows: general instructions (5 items), peripheral catheter selection (7), catheter insertion site selection (11), management during peripheral catheter insertion (10), post-insertion management (30), perfusion and locking (17), blood sampling via peripheral catheters(6), exchange and removal of peripheral catheters (6), infusion set management (14), add-on devices (32), complications (25), chemotherapy infusions (10), PCA infusions (7), parenteral nutrition (20), transfusion therapy (23), education (5), and documentation and reporting (7). The evidence levels for these recommendations are as follows: 27(9.5%) at level I, 3 (1.1%) at level I A/P, 118 (41.5%) at level II, and 136 (47.9%) at level III. Recommendation grades are categorized as follows: 30 (10.6%) at level A, 118 (41.5%) at level B, and 136(47.9%) at level C. Of these, 73 (25.7%) recommendations were newly developed, 49 (17.3%) underwent major revisions, and 147 (51.7%) underwent minor revisions. Conclusion: The updated practice guideline, based on the latest evidence, is anticipated to enhance nursing practice related to peripheral intravenous infusion therapy.</summary>

<summary type="text">Title: The Effect of Newly Graduated Nurses' Perceived Nursing Practice Readiness, Resilience, and Preceptors' Teaching Behavior on Turnover Intention
Author(s): 이은희; 김진희
Abstract: Purpose: This study investigated the effects of newly graduated nurses’ perceived readiness for nursing practice, resilience, and preceptors’ teaching behaviors on turnover intention. Methods: A survey was conducted among 168 newly graduated nurses between August 7 and 31, 2023. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Results: The factors that significantly affected turnover intention included preceptors' teaching behavior (β=-.29, p=.001) and resilience (β= -.21, p=.026). This model explained 32.0% of the variance. Conclusion: Newly graduated nurses’ resilience and their initial training environment are key factors influencing turnover intention. Therefore, nursing managers should develop strategies to enhance the resilience of newly graduated nurses and improve training systems. Additionally, efforts should be made to promote positive teaching behaviors among the educators responsible for training newly graduated nurses.</summary>
